Welcome

Established in 1997, this unique talented registered charitable organisation strives to offer the best possible training and work opportunities for people with learning difficulties.

The charity has strong links with the local community forming partnerships with employers, colleges, training providers and the local authority.  It has built an enviable reputation, delivering high quality services and obtaining excellent results in both training and work opportunities.  The Osborne Partnership is committed to supporting people with learning difficulties in their quest for integration and acceptance in the world of work.

The charity’s aims are centred around:

  • Providing training and education for people with learning difficulties.

  • Providing real work opportunities for people with learning difficulties.

Accredited Vocational Training

The Osborne Partnership’s in-house training operations provide accredited, certificated, work training programmes which help support individuals whose aspirations include going to work.  The charity is an ’Emta Awards Limited’ (EAL) registered training provider and works in partnership with Barking College delivering accredited qualifications ranging from ‘National Proficiency Test Council’ (NPTC) Entry Level (2) through to full NVQ Level (2) qualifications.

TOP Textiles Recycling Operation

Supporting the drive towards a greener and healthier local environment,  the charity has developed a ground breaking example of the voluntary sector working hand in hand with the public sector and private industry.

TOP Textiles, supported by the local authority, Shanks (east) London and LMB operates a borough wide kerb-side textile collection and recycling service enabling residents to extend their contribution to the much valued recycling agenda.  TOP Textiles provides opportunities for ‘Supported Volunteers’ (people with learning difficulties) to undertake work experience programmes which can be combined with accredited training to provide a progression route towards employment.
